Every woman wants them… Tight toned arms that look great in any sleeveless strappy top. And if you’re a woman who competes, then you definitely know how important it is to have great arms.
I have a great exercise that you absolutely MUST throw into your repertoire to pump up the arms, increase strength, and tone the overall look of your biceps. And they’re called drag curls. They’re killer, you’ll love them!
Let’s Take a Look At How to Properly Perform Drag Curls
Today I’d love to bring focus to one of my favorite, rarely-used bicep moves, and it’s called a drag curl.
Now, some of you guys are probably in the gym already hitting biceps. You’re doing normal bicep curls – and that’s great!
But here’s something to keep in mind. Did you know that your bicep is actually made of two heads?
Yep, there are two heads on that bicep muscle!
And depending on the angle of your of your forearms when you’re lifting, you’ll be hitting different heads of the biceps.
One of the things I love about drag curls is that it’s difficult because you’re going to be working more of the longer head of the bicep.
Additionally, the form requires you to be absolutely meticulous and perfect about what you’re doing. Forcing you to connect your mind to the muscle to really get a good fired up burn.
