Wow where do I even begin with this one…? It’s funny how you become accustomed to abnormalities, often without doing a damn thing about them. On August 1, 2018, I finally had my one single huge fibroid removed. A laparoscopic myomectomy surgery.
What’s crazy about all of this is that I had spent at least 3 years molding my life around the temperament of a growing benign tumor inside of my body.
I literally became a slave to my periods.
I became severely anemic.
My body felt like it simply wasn’t my own.
Insecurity crept in as I tried to hide this health issue, and decide what was best for me to do to take care of it.
At some point enough was enough… And I took my life, my body and my health back by deciding to go forth with removal surgery.
If you find yourself to be in the same boat, I implore you to take a moment to watch today’s vlog where I take you into the process of how it all started, and how I found my happy ending.
